Pentart Crystal UV Resin is a one-component product that cures under UV light. It is used for creating small resin castings; when applied in a thin layer, it serves as a glossy, varnish-like finish. The time required for UV curing depends on the thickness of the resin layer. Thin layers require approximately 20 seconds of UV light exposure, while thicker layers need longer—sometimes more than 2 minutes. When working with this resin, it is crucial to ensure that the light can penetrate all layers. Therefore, for thicker objects, we recommend applying the resin in layers (each layer should be no thicker than 3 mm) and curing them incrementally.
The "HARD" variant is primarily designed for application in thin layers as a final varnish, though it can also be used with small molds. Once cured, it becomes rigid and abrasion-resistant.
